"The Wayside gets an Upgrade" 5-17-09
A couple weeks ago the county road crew was replacing the posts at the wayside on Fallhall rd. The large treated timbers had some rot so 22 posts and 2 bumper stops had to go. When asked "what do you do with the old posts" one of the workers said "we just dump them in the landfill". With very little effort and about 15 minutes time all 24 posts found a new home at Fallhall Glen. WCYC will recycle them and use them as steps and for erosion control . Pictured below are six of them already in use just outside the cabin "Merry Breezes"
